Ancient Church

Auburn (The Blight)
The Ancient Church is located in the Blight in the SouthEastern section of that run down ghetto part of the Detroit area.  It is located on Orion between Hamlin and Auburn.
 
Rising up into the sky this church's ancient spires still cast their imposing shadows over the streets of the Blight. Circa the 1980's it's a surprise that it's still standing. But the workmanship is good. It was built to mimic European churches of old - of stone but with metal reinforcements. The bell-tower no longer sports a working bell, and the stone is completely blackened with filth and pollution. But the darkened stone only adds to the eerie presence of the church.
         The flying buttress above the entranceway is very tall and wide - the architectural style actually making life much easier for the larger meta-humans who wish to patronize the structure.

In exchange for offering Heal magic for Father Pedro for the homeless and needy that come to the church, as well as offering magical/astral security for the church to ward off ghosts and other magical threats.. Samantha has been granted access to a closet in the back of the church.  Nothing to brag about, just a bed in a blank stone room really.  But, it's what she calls home for the time being and its not some rat infested apartment building so it's not all that bad.
