After chatting with Conner Hahn, we've come up with some items we've agreed upon that we've shared and experienced together in our past/backgrounds while Samantha is in Chargen:
Conner first learned of Samantha as she moved through the bligth healing the homeless.. a frequenty sight in shelters and churches in healing the injured and yes, even gangers with gunshot wounds.
It was about a year after his first knowledge of her in the blight that he stumbled across her in the talismonger shop where she works and thus is where he learned about her deep level of understanding for Sorcery, Conjuring as well as Enchanting.
It was a year after that that a few local fixers called together a bit team for a large job. During that job the team was doublecrossed when meeting the Johnson at the end for delivery/payment and they escaped heavily injured. It was Samantha's healing magic (heal: force 5) that nursed the team very swiftly back to almost full health. The badies(tm) didn't expect a recovery like that and were unprepared when the team came back in a counter offensive and regained the delivery item.. thus ending the job once they set things right with their fixers.
Conner Hahn from the job has learned that Samantha knows Heal, Improved Invisibility, Stealth, Physical Mask, Mindlink and Influence. He has also learned from her rigidity towards men and further research about her abduction during her Junior year of college at the University of Michigan.
Samantha has also learned a bit about Conner's personality and abilities. She's learned that he's largely a combat mage, with an obsession wtih weather. He's been known to be aggressive and arrogant with people not in his circle of associates/friends and to use his Wind spell to show his strength, though he's never used it in her presence. His crusty exterior is a survival front from living in the blight, but inside he's a beer drink'n friends in the bar type of a fella(elf) lacking any serious relationship of the romantic nature. Probably due to him not feeling adequate enough in providing right now for another person.
Conner isn't much of a conjurer, things elementals have their place, but views them as a 'crutch' that lazy mages use far too often to obtain their goals. Conner genuinely wants to improve the blight situation, overal making the life of those that live in the blight a better deal.
Since that shadowrun, Conner Hahn and Samantha have gone on four other shadowruns together... Samantha knows the Barricade is one of Conner/Metro's favorite hangouts and she knows the bartender (Joe) is rather tight with him. They have exchanged email's and know how to get word out to each other to contact each other rather quickly.
